Hi! I’m Elizabeth,
But you can call me Liz. Welcome to my blog where I am going to write about my experiences and adventures as an introvert.
When I was young I had no idea what an “introvert” was. I always thought I was a little weird because I never talked and was always in my head. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to talk to others, I just didn’t have anything to say. Even still today, I get uncomfortable in large social situations and observe and listen more than I speak.
It wasn’t until much later I would learn different personality traits and personality types, which actually sparked my interest in the field of Psychology.
I have a passion for travel and adventure. I love trying new things and seeing different places. I get this giddy feeling when I get to explore. It’s like an adrenaline rush when I’m in a new place and you will come to learn that I am sort of an adrenaline junkie.
At a young age my parents always pushed me to explore, be adventurous, and get out there doing something. I played so many sports and took up photography. We traveled to the big city, beaches, parks, and I went to numerous summer camps. I think that’s where my passion for traveling and exploring new places began.
If you were to Google the word “venturesome” the definition comes up as “willingness to take risks or embark on unusual or difficult course of action” and I feel like that really resonated with me. I take risks here and there when I feel it is appropriate or needed. Take this blog for example, I couldn’t tell you how long I waited to do this after thinking about it for months.
Eventually, my goal is to be able to travel across the country and even the world. The vanlife has been something that has interested me for a couple years now and I would love to do that someday. For now though, I am going to stick to the adventures I am able to have closer to home.
