Spring is in the air! The trees and flowers are blooming with life and color again after the freezing, dark winter. Seeing everything blossom and come back to life is like a breath of fresh air. It is like a reminder that we can always get a fresh start, we can always start again no matter how dark and cold the past was.
There is a cute farm outside the small town of Tunkhannock, PA that has beautiful tulip fields in the spring. They also do sunflowers in late summer. I will make another post with those photos. The farm is called Brown Hill Farms. I definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area or looking for a fun day trip. The land is beautiful and of course the flowers are amazing! There is an admission price and also an option for a season pass if that interests you.

They set up the tulips in long rows. There were two separate fields, one where there was a mix of colors planted together (second picture) and another where each row was one color (first 2 pictures). Throughout the fields there are different props set up for pictures which make it really fun. (There was a bike, a swing, an old bench, and an old couch positioned in the fields).

I had so much fun getting creative with the different props. I probably have over 100 photos just from the two hours I spent walking the fields. I saw quite a few people who brought along professional photographers and a lot of people like myself who just brought their phone and a tripod and took their own.
You don’t need to take photos if that’s not your style. Just walking among the flowers and taking in the scenery of this beautiful place we live in is more than enough. Get out there and enjoy nature and remember to leave no trace!
